I am pleased to announce the engagement of Performanta Technologies (PTY) Ltd - the largest information security company in Africa, with international offices in the UK, Germany and USA - as our information security partner. These responsibilities will include the establishment, implementation and oversight of information security across the business.
I am further delighted to report that Anthony Olivier, the Global Director for Performanta Consulting, based in Johannesburg, will lead this initiative as our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). This role will be augmented by the relevant ICT Legislative, technical and risk management capabilities of Performanta Technologies global expertise.
Anthony holds a Bsc. in Computer Science as well as an MBL, and has fulfilled various information security roles within the Financial, Agricultural, Investment, Manufacturing, Medical and Petroleum industries, defining strategies and policies, while overseeing the implementation of information security and privacy frameworks. Anthony has spoken at various security conferences, co-authored a book on the Cyber Security Bill, and has participated on a global scale through various platforms as an information security expert.
