One Imperial Awards

‘One Imperial’ awards

On 31 January 2022, we celebrated the amazing people at Imperial who have contributed towards the achievement of our ‘One Imperial’ strategy, the people who live our values every day. Congratulations to all our finalists and to the two incredible winners of the ‘One Imperial’ Awards, we are so proud of you.

“Living our ‘One Imperial’ values” award

Our winner for “Living our ‘One Imperial’ values” was awarded to our Imperial Managed Solutions: East Africa operations, which distributed ARVs to some of the most rural communities in Kenya, following an extended period of no access to ARVs. This team, led by Greg Badenhorst, went the extra mile and leveraged donkeys, canoes and specialised 4x4 vehicles to get this critical medication to some of the most remote parts of the country. This is an extraordinary example of our colleagues living the ‘One Imperial’ ethos of our organisation and delivering on our purpose of ‘connecting Africa and the world and improving people’s lives with access to quality products and services’.

“Achievement of Strategy” award

Our second winner for “Achievement of Strategy” was awarded to The 'One Imperial' Diageo Supply Chain team. The Diageo journey started when Contract Logistics Dedicated Contracts (CLDC) with the assistance of Lead Logistics Provider (LLP) secured the warehousing, distribution, Demand Replenishment Planning (DRP) and Control Tower in October 2019. By delivering against the initial service promise and with effective key account management, our Market Access (MA) opportunity was identified and successfully added to the Imperial solution in September 2020.

Congratulations to Mathys Enslin, William Sears, and Joe Theart and respective teams for leading this incredible achievement.
