David Pritchard

Executive Vice President: Market Access | Healthcare

Responsible for redefining the global strategy in Healthcare at Imperial, building on the company infrastructure in Africa. The Market Access Healthcare business generates approx. $500 million in revenue and is growing at approx. 20%. Member of the Market Access Executive Committee . EVP with 30 years of broad, solid commercial pharmaceutical experience and a history of delivering outstanding success in both developed and Emerging Market settings. David worked for Glaxo Smith Kline (GSK) for almost 30 years in various roles with the most recent being Vice President and Head of Africa and Developing Countries Asia. As a member of the Executive Committee of ViiV Healthcare, a GSK company, delivered world leading launches of novel antiretrovirals securing commercial success for its new portfolio.

Emile Malan

Advisor: Market Access | Healthcare

Leads an emerging integrated pharmaceutical services provider founded in 2018, providing regulatory services to Imperial. Experienced pharmaceutical executive with 10+ years of international and African medical, regulatory and commercial experience (Pfizer UK, GSK Africa and Asia developing countries) including creation of medical affairs service hubs providing content approval, medical information and pharmacovigilance services. Experienced clinician with 8+ years in hospital and primary care. Therapeutic expertise include: Vaccines, Inflammation/Immunology, Infectious Disease (incl. HIV, TB), Diabetes, Cardiovascular, CNS, other major NCDs (Respiratory, Oncology etc.).

Chris Oosthuizen

Vice President: Commercial Solutions | Market Access | Healthcare

Responsible for commercial management of new and existing partnerships. Senior Executive with extensive experience in pharmaceutical & vaccines commercial business across Africa including institutional business. Roles held include Commercial Excellence Director for Africa & Developing Countries (GSK), Head of Marketing & Access and Senior Manager Supranational Affairs for GSK Global Vaccines. During his 7-year tenure at GSK, Chris led the vaccines team at GSK that successfully implemented 7 Rotavirus & 3 Pneumococcal vaccine introductions into the national vaccination programs of countries in sub-Saharan Africa while also securing demonstration projects for Human Papilloma Virus in 3 markets. Having started his career as a sales representative and combined with his management experience, it provides Chris with in-depth knowledge and understanding of pharmaceuticals sales and marketing and what it takes to be successful.

Graham Wilson

Vice President: Healthcare Services | Market Access | Healthcare

Responsible for strategy execution, in-market activities and sales team effectiveness. Senior Executive with 22 years’ experience in pharmaceutical, nutritional and consumer healthcare businesses gained in Europe as well as across Africa. Roles held include Business Development Manager for Africa (Abbott), National Sales Manager South Africa (Abbott & Sandoz), Commercial Manager UK (Novartis Consumer), NHS liaison Manager (Novartis). Having started his career as a sales representative and progressing into various managements roles responsible for sales teams in many multinational pharmaceutical companies, with in-depth knowledge and understanding of Sub-Saharan African markets, Graham and his team bring their extensive experience to ensure success and growth for new principals in Africa.

Craig Wilson

Senior Vice President: Finance | Market Access | Healthcare

Responsible for the Financial management of Market access Healthcare in Africa. Experienced financial executive with 12+ experience in the Pharmaceutical, Consumer Health and vaccines commercial business across Africa. Craig is a Chartered Accountant and his roles held were Financial director GSK Africa & developing countries, Novartis Consumer Health Africa, and Reckitt Benckiser.
